Association Curie Joliot-Curie

A not-for-profit organization whose aims are:
  • To raise awareness of the life and work of Pierre and Marie Curie, and of Frédéric and Irène Joliot-Curie, thereby perpetuating their memory.
  • To help preserve their writings and work, and documents or objects concerning them, and to make them available for display, educational and research purposes, events and talks.

To raise awareness of scientific and technical culture, the Association Curie and Joliot-Curie supports initiatives to promote the work of these four scientists, particularly among young people. We support schools in their projects (advice, loan of teaching materials, photographs, etc.). We take part in commemorations concerning the “family with five Nobel Prizes” and participate in scientific and cultural events related to our aims. We work closely with the Curie Museum and its parent institutions: the CNRS/IN2P3 and the Institut Curie.
