Clinical research

The Institut Curie Clinical runs research programs on common but also rare cancers.

The Institut Curie hospitals carry out various lines of clinical research with a view to:

  • initiating and evaluating strategies for reducing the side effects of treatments, to spare healthy tissue and preserve organs wherever possible;
  • adapting treatments to the characteristics of each tumor and each patient;
  • identifying new pharmacological targets, and developing and evaluating drug targets;
  • developing research on quality of life and supportive care.
