Incentive and cooperative research programs at Institut Curie
Funded entirely by Institut Curie's own capital, much of which is generously donated by the public, the incentive and cooperative research programs (PICs) at Institut Curie were launched in 1996 to foster certain scientific objectives in cancer research with one of the following three goals.

Hosting programs for foreign researchers
Many post-doctoral and high-level researchers come from around the world each year to learn, share ideas, and actively contribute to the scientific and medical projects at Institut Curie. They also contribute in turn to our training initiatives.

Foreign post-doctoral fellows
This program, first launched in 1997, is for young post-doctoral researchers from abroad who would like to continue their research at a laboratory in the Institut Curie Research Centre.

Hosting programs for senior researchers on sabbatical
Support from the Edmond de Rothschild and Yvette Mayent Foundations enables Institut Curie to award fellowships each year, allowing internationally-renowned scientists to spend time working at one of the Research Centre's laboratories.
