Young postdoctoral researchers

This program, instituted in 1997, is aimed at young foreign postdoctoral researchers interested in pursuing their research in one of the Institut Curie's Research Center laboratories. These young researchers can stay for a period of one year, renewable once. The grant is determined according to the applicant's age and experience and is approximately 1900 € or 2300 € net per month (after deduction of social security contributions).

Applications must comprise the following documents:

• Full CV, including publications
• Personal letters of recommendation from well-known scientists,
• Agreement by the host laboratory to receive the applicant,
• Brief description of the research project to be conducted during the fellowship.

Applicants will be selected on the basis of several criteria:

• Quality of the CV and of previous work,
• Relevance of the applicant's project to the Research Center teams,
• The capacity of the candidate to continue his or her post-doctoral work in our laboratories by obtaining support from funding bodies other than the Institut Curie.
