Cancer diagnosis and treatment

The Institut Curie Hospital Group is part of the Paris region public hospital service and a world-renowned center for the diagnosis and treatment of breast cancer, eye cancer, pediatric cancers, lymphomas, prostate cancer, head and neck cancers, gynecological cancers, gastrointestinal cancers, lung cancer, skin cancer, and cancer of the nervous system.

Our priorities

  • To develop innovative and personalized treatments by increasing our clinical research capacity
  • To strengthen our expertise in breast cancer, eye cancer, and pediatric cancers
  • To diversify our clinical activities and to expand in the following fields: gastrointestinal, gynecology, urology, hematology, pneumology, sarcomas, dermatology, neurology.
  • To make available the latest techniques
  • To develop appropriate care by optimizing the patient’s treatment program
  • To provide information for the patient and his or her family, and to ensure that the patient plays a part in the medical decision-making
  • To reinforce multidisciplinarity and strengthen partnerships

As a member of the National Federation of French Cancer Centers (FNCLCC), the Institut Curie is a reference center for innovative techniques, like high-precision radiotherapy, conservative treatments, and oncogenetics.
The Hospital Group’s clinical activities also allow it to carry out wide-ranging clinical research, notably with the support of the Institut Curie’s Translational Research Department and Research Center.
On a human scale, it puts its skills, know-how, and the latest techniques at the service of the patient while showing constant concern for his or her quality of life.
The Institut Curie Hospital Group is committed to a drive to improve patient management through a four-yearly review by the French National Authority for Health.
