T cell dynamics in lymph node microdomains scaling CD8 Teff formation

In my seminar I will give an overview of our current knowledge about spatio-temporal events during CD8 T cell priming after viral infections. I will show data how the communication between CD4+, CD8+ T cells and Treg cells is orchestrated in the LN, thereby revealing a new dynamic phase of T cell priming. This new phase serves to optimally relay and control paracrine signals to scale the developing CD8 T cell effector response. I will provide a conceptual framework and discuss implications for cellular immunotherapy.
