'Adventures in Chemical Biology - From in vivo chemistry to real-time optical medical imaging'

12 juin - 11h00 - 23h59

Centre de recherche - Orsay

Amphithéâtre du Bâtiment 111

Campus universitaire, Orsay (91)

Description

My talk will be a potpourri of my groups research interests, that illustrate our capabilities and interdisciplinarity. Specifically:

(i). I will describe the development of unnatural chemistries carried out inside cells, with studies that include the formation of both new C-C bonds, the in situ synthesis of drugs and the in celluo generation of nanoparticles. (ii). I will describe some of the work in which we have deployed a variety of fluorescent technologies  - including fluorescent molecules - for in vivo use. My talk will discuss the application of these technologies, including first in-human studies.
