Description

Organoids are lumen-containing multicellular structures that recapitulate key features of the organs. We will first present a microfluidic technology that allows to produce them at high throughput in individual hydrogel capsules. Next, we will show how we can sort cellular aggregates according to size or phenotype using a home-made cytometer based on acoustic actuation. Finally, using a dedicated micro-inflator, we will explore the mechanical properties of epiblast models and demonstrate their unique capabilities of super-deformability with minimal stress generation.
