Molecular Mechanisms of Chromosome Folding and Enhancer Wiring

I will present recent discoveries from our lab on how cohesin-mediated DNA loop extrusion shapes genome folding, and explore why some but not all loci rely on this process for enhancer-promoter communication during pluripotency and early embryonic lineage commitment.
