Description

A fundamental, unresolved question in developmental biology is how organs measure their size during animal development, and how they know at what size to stop growing. The Drosophila wing disc is one of the main model systems used to study this question. I will describe work we have done aimed at understanding how the termination of organ growth is controlled.
