Structural neutrophils

Tissues are composed of cells from different lineages that fulfil different roles needed for organ function. As technologies develop and we expand the palette of immune functions, however, the functional divide between lineages disappear. In this talk I will provide an example that illustrates the blurry division between labor and lineage, and showcase the example of skin neutrophils which we find specialize in performing structural functions that physically enhance the barrier properties of this organ.
