ROCIO NUNEZ VAZQUEZ

I joined Geneviève Almouzni's laboratory as a postdoctoral researcher after completing my PhD at the Centro de Biología Molecular Severo Ochoa (Madrid, Spain), where I studied the role of atypical histone H3 variants under abiotic stress conditions. At the Curie Institute, my research focuses on how histone H3 variants influence chromatin accessibility, replication timing, and nuclear architecture. Through this work, I aim to elucidate their impact on genome regulation, cellular plasticity, and epigenetic stability, with implications for development and cancer.
