Arghyadip Mukherjee, recipient of a Qbio Junior Chair at the Physics Department of the École Normale Supérieure, will give a seminar on the role of topology in the specification of cell fate on Monday, December 2nd at 10 AM. He will present his recent work on how cell topology impacts spindle in-plane orientation and therefore specifies cell fate identity in early Drosophila embryos.
