To have access to the OpenIris online reservation platform, the creation of an account with an institutional email is mandatory regardless of the type of reservation: Sign-in, account creation, email entry, selection/creation of the group and the team.
Acceptance of the CYTPIC charter, which can be consulted and downloaded, is mandatory before any reservation. Future users must inform their affiliation and provide a certificate of work training in a containment laboratory level 2 (BSL2) before accessing the platform. Team members will enter this information in a OpenIris “Service Request” on behalf of the user and will give internal users access rights by badge to the laboratories concerned. If you cannot provide a BSL2 certificate, please contact cytometrie@curie.fr directly.

• Training request: Each instrument requires mandatory training before autonomous use and validation by a member of the CYTPIC team. To request training on an instrument, contact is made directly by email describing the project, the cell type, the fluorochromes used and the dates and instruments desired. After discussion with the referring operator, you will finalize the operation by reserving your slot directly on OpenIris in a dedicated calendar. CYTPIC ensures the backup of training reservation data.

• Autonomous reservation: After confirmation of the mandatory training, autonomous online reservation is possible. OpenIris “Provider” CYTPIC then “Scheduler” and “filter” to find the desired resource then reservation of the desired time slot. Self-contained internal users are responsible for backing up their data to the provided backup server. CYTPIC provides data backup for external autonomous users.

• Assisted booking: This booking method requires available CYTPIC staff, direct contact by email describing the project, the cell type, the fluorochromes used and the dates and instruments desired. We will respond as soon as possible. After discussion with the referring operator, you will finalize the operation by reserving your slot directly on OpenIris in a dedicated calendar. CYTPIC ensures the data backup of assisted reservations.

• Maintenance monitoring and incident reports: Maintenance reports are available for each instrument on the platform in the dedicated calendar. In the event of an incident, please report it to us immediately using the incident form on OpenIris and in the event of an emergency, contact CYTPIC staff by email.
