Depuis 2003, l’Institut Curie a structuré un « Département de recherche translationnelle » dans le but de promouvoir et de faciliter cette recherche dont l’objectif est le transfert des découvertes de la paillasse au lit des patients et vice versa sous la forme d’applications diagnostiques ou thérapeutiques.
